For many animals, Vitamin B5/Pantothenic Acid is a mandatory nutrient. They need it to synthesize coenzyme-A (CoA) as well as to synthesize and metabolize proteins, carbohydrates, and fats.

Some animals are found to need 20 times the average amount of B5/Pantothenic acid because of their genetic makeup. The same can be said of humans. There are certain families that require far more of this vitamin than the general populace and without it, they suffer far more than the rest of us do, too.

With the average intake being somewhere around 4-5 mg daily, there are some families that need as much as 200 mg a day to maintain good health. Since it is water soluble there is no need to be concerned about getting too much, any excess is simply lost in the urine. Drinking plenty of Vitamin Water is a great way to remedy this shortage.

Since cortisone also cannot be produced without Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) , it makes sense to add this to the diet as one of your first supplements. Symptoms of Vitamin B5/Pantothenic acid deficiencies are very similar to those of allergies;

  • Fatigue

  • Listlessness

  • Poor appetite

  • Digestive problems

  • Headache

  • Irritability

  • Nervousness

  • Depression

  • Quarreling

  • The need to sleep

  • Recent respiratory infections, and a

  • Large number of ‘eosinophils’ cells in the blood and lymph... just to name a few.

The addition of Pantothenic acid alone has been known to effect allergies more than any other nutrient , and when combined with the cortisone produced from the adrenal glands, it is a very powerful defense against all allergens, no matter where they come from, or how severe the onslaught.
