Linus Pauling and Vitamin C

Vitamin C plays a very large role in getting the adrenals to produce more cortisone. It is always found to be in very low levels within the blood of persons suffering from allergies. Vitamin C also increases both the production of, and the effectiveness of cortisone produced by the adrenals.

Vitamin C, Vitamin B5/ Pantothenic acid, and Vitamin B6 each have their own anti-histamine effects on the body, but when combined they will decrease the amount of certain undesired red blood cells called ‘eosinophilis’ , and help prevent them from increasing in the blood.

In both animals and humans, the amount of vitamin C found in the blood of allergic persons is considered very low as compared to their peers. Vitamin C is so important to so many functions within the body, I am sure that it is only a matter of time before Nutritional-Therapy will produce an eBook on just this vitamin alone. Linus Pauling laid the foundation for vitamin C back in the 1950’s and 1960’s with his many works in this field and his findings deserve to be expounded on even to this day.

While he was ridiculed and criticized for his theories-eventually proven facts- about vitamin C back then, he went on to receive two individual Nobel Prizes; one in Biochemistry, and one for Peace. His work is well respected and highly referenced even today. His theories have now been accepted and proven true over and over again, and he stands out as one of the most accomplished and successful philanthropist of our day.

Nutritional-Therapy bases much of our study on Linus Paulings work, and combines it with modern day research to come up with the most recent and relevant information available today.
