Vitamin C does so many things- When you stop and think about it, vitamin C is formally named Ascorbic Acid. Yes, it's acid. Not enough to burn us on the inside, but enough to burn bacertia and viruses, and a host of other cells that tend to wreak havoc.
Here is a short list of some of the things it does-
1. Vitamin C can actually help you absorb iron better, which plays a n important role in forming hemoglobin. This will help avoid fatigue, and support muscle and brain function. As little as 500-mg of Vitamin C taken in the morning will nearby double the amount of iron that your body absorbs on a daily basis.
2. Vitamin C will detoxify the body of toxins that are all around us. What we eat, what we drink in the water, and what we breathe in the air.
3. Vitamin C will also stimulate the adrenal glands and get them to produce our own Cortisone, so we don't need to take synthetic shots that can cause side effects.
4. When Vitamin C gets the Arenal glands working, this cortisone will reduce swelling throughout the body. This means the no matter where we are swollen, taking Vitamin C will reduce that swelling from the inside out.
So the next time you are eating an orange, think about all the great things you are doing to your body, and yuoself.
