We typically do Allergies in the Spring time,

but lately we have been getting lots of emails for things like Auto-Immune Disease, Respiratory Distress, and Digestive Problems.

While this might not sounds like allergies, they do all stem from the same fundamental issue, not being able to process foreign bodies/ allergens from the blood.

Allergies are the result of the bodies reaction to allergens once they enter the blood. These allergens are more often than not nothing more than very small protein particles that can enter through the skin, mucous membranes, respiratory system and intestinal tract.

They usually enter the body without us even knowing it through some routine, daily activity. This is why trying to limit contact with an allergen in order to avoid an allergic reaction is not really a practical way to deal with them. They are everywhere, and more often than not we are not even aware that we are in contact with allergens until we have a reaction to it.

So, it’s easy to see that trying to limit foods for fear of an allergic reaction is not the best way to deal with the signs and symptoms. This only depletes the body of much needed nutrition at the exact time that the person needs it most. This is why the focus should be on building up a strong body, so it can fight allergens the way it was designed to, instead of going backwards and avoiding certain foods altogether.

Adding drugs into the mix only adds more stress to an already weakened condition. While I would not dismiss allergy medications altogether, once you learn how the body works, you will be able to wean yourself off of them gradually without triggering a possibly dangerous reaction.
